Use of coals and wastes in a co-gasification process aimed at producing hydrogen rich gas

Abstract The use of low-quality coals and flotoconcentrates is currently severely limited, the problem managing municipal waste from anthropogenic activities a challenge. problems reducing carbon dioxide emissions, utilizing energy potential increasing its recycling have an impact on costs electricity production. Considering abundant streams unused fuels, they can be considered as attractive materials, so environmentally-friendly cost-effective options for their utilization should developed. A study was conducted using steam co-gasification technology selected coals, flotation concentrates Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) alternative fuel. Selected were combined with RDF fuel in process aimed at hydrogen experiments produced gas concentrations ranging 67% (vol.) to 68% low methane concentrations. It observed that addition fuels helped increase concentration syngas. Attention paid catalytic ability metal oxides contained blend, particular reference K 2 O Al 3 TiO .
